Tinker Tales - Take 2
Music Credits: Better Together by The Piano Tribute Guys
This video details the continuation of the work I am doing with my Deep Play Group. Multimodal Composition is a broad subject with many variations and possibilities. In order to deepen our understanding of how to implement aspects of multimodal composition in our classrooms, we will be reading several books and discussing them. The first book is 50 Things You Can Do With Google Classroom by Alice Keeler and Libbi Miller. The second book is Working with Multimodality: Rethinking Literacy in a Digital Age by Jennifer Rowsell. The last book I am examining is Multimodal Learning for the 21st Century Adolescent Perfect Paperback by Tom Bean. Stay tuned for more details. The video was created using iMovie. Video and photographs were sent to iMovie where the script voiceover was recorded and music was added.

Tinker Tales - Take #1
Music Credits: The Lion Sleeps Tonight by Chet Atkins
This video was created for the MSU-Wipro STEM and Leadership Teaching Fellowship Program. It outlines the beginning of my work with my Deep Play Group and introduces an aspect of the Imagine It! project I will be implementing during the 2015-2016 school year. Multimodal composition allows for student diversity in education. It encourages creativity by using a variety of means to show understanding and showcase student learning. The video was made using PowToon to create a series of slides. They were saved and downloaded as an .MP4 file. I then uploaded them to iMovie where the script voiceover was recorded and music was added to enliven the production. Enjoy!
